• BEGINNERS – Learning the Letters/ Alphabets and sounds/ phonetics (the system of speech sounds of a language or group of languages); learning how to join the letters and form read words;

• INTERMEDIATE – knowing how to read a language (here we include TASHQUEEL – the Accents – useful for proper reading of Nobel Qur’an); knowing basic words and vocabulary and struggling to improve vocabulary and make short sentences with these words; learning basic grammar (such as to be able to put the words into sentences).

• Advanced – knowledge of reading, basic words, being able to make short sentences – focusing on increasing vocabulary and grammar, making more refined sentences and paragraphs, developing skills for essay writing.

  • Noble qur’an Arabic versus Colloquial Arabic

The arabic language used in noble qur’an requires a higher level of language – vocabulary is similar to regular use of language or sometimes higher – howver the grammar is higher and needs more emphsasis; colloquial level of language – is mostly the language spoken in the street – and is more basic level of language – from spoken words to short sentences – while the grammar is more simplistic; however, both require a good level of vocabulary to build on.
